Malabourg se déploie en Amérique, dans la partie nord du continent ; entre les Appalaches et la mer, à la lisière de la forêt boréale, sur les routes québécoises et les rives du fleuve Saint-Laurent, dans les rues de Montréal dont se sont emparés les étudiants en grève, sur lœInterstate 87 et à New York, lœétalon états-unien des grandes villes américaines.
